Maryland General Assembly is looking for high school seniors to be a Page and represent your school and county. You could be one of a select group of high school seniors from across the state who will go to the Capitol in Annapolis to work as a page during the 2015 Legislative Session. Each student selected will have the opportunity to work two nonconsecutive weeks (Monday - Friday) in either the Senate or the House of Delegates from January 14 - April 13, 2015. The USDA/1890 National Scholars Program is a partnership between of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the nineteen 1890 Historically Black Land-Grant Universities. The USDA/1890 National Scholars Program is implemented under the USDA Fellow Experience Program (FEP). Applicants accepted into the program will be appointed using the Schedule A(r) authority (5 CFR 213.3202) and are not eligible for noncompetitive conversion to full time employment upon graduation. A USDA/1890 National Scholar may apply for a Pathways internship. These positions maybe noncompetitively converted to full time employment but it is not guaranteed.
